Linux claims it is not supporting WinModems nor ever will.  Well I have
some software that is called ZModem in a zip file format that is called a
LinModem (WinModem type) that is supposed to be for that WinModem.  Have
not installed it just yet, still attempting to learn more about
Linux/Mandrake v7.0.  There are a large number of thingys we have to know
to use Linux efficiently, if you are a HACKER or a Programmer this is
easy as falling off the "Ole' Log" but if you are like me, we have to
read, read, read, read and when you think you have finished you have to
read some more.  

I do not remember where I was told to go to find this, it may have been
on the PCTEL website.  Will check and find if there is a place in the
README file that gives any clues.
