doing my first Mandrake install (7.0), relatively new to linux in general...
trying to install onto a Dell Latitude CPiA laptop...
setup cannot find my CD-ROM (its the Toshiba that came with the machine) whether i
put it in the bay (in which case it should be on the secondary IDE controller) and
have the floppy on the parallel port or vice versa...
i have just been choosing the "ide cdrom" from the list...tried autoprobing on the
other listings, but no luck...
any suggestions on how i can get it to see the CD-ROM?
