this may sound odd... but give it a try and let me know if it works for you... can you start linuxconf, go to networking, set up a ppp account under "ppp"... Have several providers i use all work fine under windoze. I use Kppp to connect. The error I get is the remote system is required to authenticate itself but I could not find a sutable secret to do so. I am useing terminal based log in not PAP or CHAP why am I getting this and how do I stop it ?   Thanks Lee
