I'm administering a NT domain.

I'm new in Linux world ... and wanna learn about this system.

Now, I have a PC running a NT workstation and it can boot to Linux as a
normal desktop system.

I'm able to use the NT Proxy Server using Netscape under my Linux-mandrake
7.0 (manually configuring the proxy entries in my Netscape)

I'd like to see the whole of my Windows NT LAN, to be able to get all the NT
shares and printers...
For this purpose I think I need something named SAMBA ...
I have been hearing a lot about SAMBA, and have been searching in Internet
about it.
Think SAMBA is a sort of Comunnication Suite, but ... don't know more about
it.
I have seen there are serveral GUI to manage SAMBA ... but ... here are my
(stupid) questions :

Where is SAMBA in my Linux-Mandrake 7.0 ??
Is it a service ? Is it always running ?
If not ... How can I set up SAMBA ?
How can then use any GUI application?
Which of them do you recommend ?

Thanks
