Is there a rpm or program that is a work around for the winmodem problem? I wish, I bought a new IBM Aptiva and it has a Winmodem too :-( You could take a peak at this wonderfull page here.... http://www.o2.net/~gromitkc/winmodem.html it lists most modems and if they are compatable with Linux or not. I'm currently looking on the online auction eBay to see if I can find a good cheap one. Hope that helps, Evan Holt
