Hugo,
This is very easy to fix. When you're doing the install and you're
partition your HDD for Linux make these partitions.
"/boot" = 10Meg
"/" (your 'root' partition) = HOwever big your you want according to
physical limits
SWAP partition = 200 - 300 Meg
that's really all there is to it.
