[newbie] Ultra 5 and Mandrake 7.1 and NIC cards

I just installed Mandrake 7.1 onto my Ultra 5 with the latest OBP and it
will
not or can not load my NIC cards.

I also have a Qlogic PCI SCSI card in the system with Solaris 8 on one
of the
SCSI drives and that works great and sees the eth0 and eth1 just fine.

Mandrake will also not load the Qlogic drivers even though if you look
at the PCI
buss, it lists the NIC and the SCSI cards.

Help folks, any ideas.  I work for SUN and know the hardware, but am
lost here.
