I suppose that an "*" showed after a file after executing a ls command means that it is "able to be executed"... am i right?
If it's right, i have a problem. I use a fat32 partition to store data, and all files in that partition appear with that "*" (either they had it or not on the ext2 partition).
That's a problem because, for instance, mc doesn't enter a compressed file.
