I need to do this too, and I researched it briefly. Initially I thought
I could do it with a laplink cable, PLIP, and/or Midnight Commander.
However, it was pointed out to me, that by the time I get that setup, I
could have setup an ethernet connection, which would be a much more
useful education for me, as it has real world applications.
