Sorry I can't send you a copy of smb.conf cause it won't even let me
open it. Doesn't matter anyway, I'm inadvertantly starting over cause I
really fouled things up.  I'm now reloading linux on my second hard
drive. It's installing on hdc believe it or not with no primary master
hd. Well we will see how this goes. I am still not sure if the other hd
is toast. but al least one of them seems to be working. I'll try again
with samba after the fresh install is done.  Thanks, Dennis
