Ok here what i tryed, i noticed that it only goes up to ttyS0-ttyS3 in
Mandrake 7.1..BUT my modem is on COM 5 in windows..which would be ttyS4
right? I tryed changing it in windows but it still goes back to com 5. I
also tryed doing the instructions with modem that says: #./MAKEDEV ttyS4
,it does not give a error or anything after i do that but does not show up
in Internet setup still. Any other Ideas? I noticed in the /dev folder
there WAS a ttyS4 listed but it said there was no files or something like
that.

BTW, the modem i have is the new PCI Zoom Model#2920
thanks,
