[newbie] Installing SSH

I've been trying to install SSH will little success. I downloaded the 
files from one of Mandrake's mirror sites and tried to install the 
RPM, but when I try to do so I get an error message saying the the 
openssh RPM has a dependency called rpmlib. I don't know what rpmlib 
is nor how to find it. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Anyone kknow 
of a good resource for going over everything needed to do in order to 
get SSH up and running?
