Tried using vwdial this has moved me forward a little as I no longer get the no
ppp in kernel message if using kppp or vwdial. As user I can now dial to the net
but as soon as I get a connect the system starts pppd, instantly dies with no
error message and redials.

I'm still having no problems as root just as user. Anybody got any more good
ideas. I seem to be half way to getting the problems solved thank you very much
for the help so far.
