Hi !

I have Road Runner at home but am not able to configure it.
My Network Adapter is working.
In order to configure DHCP, the only thing I did is enabling the DHCP
option when I installed mandrake 7.1.
I guess that is not enough to make Road Runner work!!!! (Indeed it
doesn't...)

I went through the DHCP mini-how-to but it is not updated enough and
doesn't deal with the Mandrake 7.1 configuration.
There is no way to find a complete documentation on how to do it under
Mandrake 7.1...
And as I am a pure newbie (I've been using Linux for only 2 weeks...), I
really do not know what to do. Moreover, I don't really understand the
Networking jargon...

Then it would be really great if someone could guide me step-by-step
through the process of making DHCP work under Mandrake...

Sorry about that... I am just desperate and I still absolutely do not want
to go back to the Microsoft world...

Thanks a lot for your understanding and help!

Nicolas
