[newbie] Quantum hard drives

Has anyone had any trouble with their large (mine is 10Gb)
Quantum ide drives with Mandrake 7.1 and above?

I am running 7.0-2 and am afraid to upgrade,
I don't know whether it was just rumour on
the newsgroup or what?
