I had luck last night and made it on to the internet as a user. Not quite sure
what I did, but here is kind of a description. As root I worked my way down to
KPP0 from the system configuration menu through networking and PPP and went to
the edit of PPP0. I then probably by mistake set the little button to have ppp
turned on at boot up (I have since turned it off) then I activiated my ISP
there. I thought nothing had happened, but when I went back as a user and tried
to get on it said I was already there, so I tried Netscape and there is was
with no funny message. I tried to log off and counld not so went back to PPP0
and shut off the turn on at boot up. It has been working so far except I have
to get my mail thrrough Netscape rather than KDmial. Not very scientic, but it
has worked so far.
