[newbie] VIA onboard sound card and 7.2

Hey all,

        Question for the group..... I have Mandrake 7.2 installed and have an ASUS
K7V card with the Via sound card installed and active. I ran 'sndconfig' and
it said that the sound card is not supported yet. But Redhat 7.0 and SUSE
see it just fine. I have tried to recompile the kernel with the module add,
not loaded as a module but it does not work.

Any ideas?
