   When you say you resized your C and D partitions I am assuming that you
left an area of free space in which you wish to install 7.2.
   If this is true when you choose "Use existing partition" during the
installation it will not see the free space because it is not looking for
it.
   There are 2 solutions which will correct this.
   Use PM to create your Linux partitons in free space and then install 7.2
in "existing partitions
or
   during the installation of 7.2 instead of choosing "existing partitions"
choose Use DiskDrake and use it to create and format your Linux partitions.
