I installed Mandrake 7.2 with CUPS and samba. I have applied all updates. Everything works fine except for one thing. Upon initial bootup, the printer is not seen as an SMB share. This is true for both the Windows machine and smbclient on the Mandrake machine. If I simply restart the smb service with "service smb restart" then the printer shows up.
