[newbie] Burning CD - not from ISO

Greetings!

I am new to this list, and to Mandrake/Linux as well. My 
first question (even before installing): what files do I 
need to download from ftp from the 'RPMS' directory for CD 
1? (the directory is 1,08 GB all together - too much for a 
single CD). How can I make the disc bootable?
