Dear friends: This would seem to be a no-brainer: one should certainly prefer RealPlayer 8 to RealPlayer 7. However, what puzzles me is the size of the file. The Real 7 for Linux rpm is 6.5 megs in size, while the Real 8 Linux rpm is only 4.8 megs in size. Both are for Red Hat glibc 2.1 and both were downloaded from RealPlayer. Can someone explain this, please. Is there anything missing in Real 8 that would make one want to keep Real 7? Thanks so much.
