Do not look in /usr/sbin/Grub Double-click on the root folder. Navigate to the /root/Boot/Grub. Open the Grub folder. Inside the Grub folder is a file menu.1st Open the file menu.1st. My menu.1st file's kernel appears: title linux kernel (hd0,6) /boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/hda7 mem=128M vga=788 Note that I added the line vga=788 I resaved the file and rebooted my computer.
