Hi, I installed LM8.0 on my laptop that has hot swapable CD-RW/FDD. To allow LM detect all, I used the FDD on the parallel port. After installation, after shutdown, I removed the FDD. At boot, no problem. However df -k (or Mandrake Control Center, or everything that access indirectly the FDD) hangs for about 1min, trying to reach the FDD and then finishes its work.
