As i know , it is possible :
when you installing the Linux, install the LILO on a floppy drive, and
untill 
you are not booting from the floppy disk, the linux isn't there . ;-)

hello out there,
ok i want to install LM 8.0 on a WIN NT4.0 system BUT i want to use the ntfs
partiton and i don't want a dual boot i like to have a sepperat disk to boot
linux but if someone accesses this pc that they don't know that linux is
installed unles thay use the disk. is that posible like BEOS
