I would hope you would not take offence to the remarks on this list. some
times when presented with an obstical with no obvious personal enrichment,
some folks feel a need to speek "of the top of their heads. I am sure no
personal derogotory statment was intended. after thinking about your problem,
it may well be possible to use VNC and MANDRAKE and WIN4LIN to make the
program run. It may also be almost as easy to write a datebase program to run
in MySQL with Apache and set up a webpage to perl and cgi script the page to
do what you want. I can only speak for myself, but a newbie list is not
necessarly for geeks. and heck feel free to keep my address and write me off
list if you feel better about it, and we can communicate about any thing
computer you would like (Please note.. i ain't no ex-spurt, just an over the
hill, wanna-be geek.)
