[newbie] Sound card drivers

Hi,   It looks like I got 'make' installed, because when I tried it, I got a message that said "no rule to make target". What I had done is this: make /mnt/floppy/au88xx-1.0.5.tar.gz makefile install10   The file to install the drivers is supposed to be in this location, but as I said, I got the message above. What have I done wrong? Any help you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks.   Guy
