Hey guys, don't mean to beat a dead horse, but UDMA XXX dosent mean anything. no one's hard drive is fast enough to utilize all that throughput. so don't worry about what kernel supports who, It doesn't matter. you will see no performance boost. if you want the most performance from a hard drive, get a reliable one with a high RPM, 7200 should do just fine, 10,000 if you gots the cash. even with high RPM drives, you _will_not_ max out a UDMA66, probably not even a UDMA33. just trying to debunk some myths and save ya' some headaches and cash.
