Roger,
In Konqueror > Settings > Configure Konqueror > File Associations > Text > 
html - make sure Konqueror is in the list on the right *at the top*.

I was having the same problem and just made that change - it worked!  I 
previously had Mozilla as my first choice but that didn't work.  Hope it 
works for you too.
