u guys probably got gmc on autostart (find and erase) OR most likely, u once ran gmc then quit kde with the option to save ur session as is so as to resume it next boot. u can 1. kill the gmc process (that should also kill the gnome icons) then save ur sessions 2. somewhere in the kde control panel is the same save sessions options but i cant for the life of me remember where ----- Original Message ----- From: "Charles A.
