hai, did you try running /usr/sbin/Xdrake(or *drake, as i don't have my laptop at hand to ckeck it out(sorry)). select the correct monitor type(with correct colour resolution) and graphic card. then save it run. because i had similar problem on my Gericom laptop. and not now! :-) Am i wrong?.
