a few things that might help. I'm away from my box right now so i don't have specifics. will check tonight. there is a setting to set yout agp usage. it defaults to 3 with the new drivers. mine only works if i set it to 1. next i assume you had installed mesa before the drivers. i found that if you install the drivers then mesa nothing works. I have the problem that if i try to run anything with mesa full screen it dies. So i run every thing in a window (chromium, tuxracer, quake 3, UT all have options for it, gears is a good check for this as it only is in a window) also are there any warnings or errors in the XFree log file?
