Another oddity, as mentioned earlier the sound in 8.1 on my system and others is a bit subdued. I notice that with the Kmixer icon docked on the Kbar, and you put the mouse pointer over it, it says "volume at 31%" even with the slider all the way to the top. Anyone know how to improve on this or is it not fixable.? I have tried resetting aumix and that makes no dif with the Kmixer. -- Dennis M. registered Linux user #180842
