Hello! I'm trying to use my scanner with Linux Mandrake 8.1; I followed all instructions from SANE site and related links about umax_pp and ALL seems to match till I launch
xscanimage umax_pp The device seems to be scanned (according to the noise ^_^ it is), then the following message: [umax_pp_mid] sanei_umax_pp_InitTransport() failed (umax_pp_mid.c:221) I know somebody did manage to make it works... Any suggestions? Corrado
