I can't MANDRAKE 8.1 after instalation launch. 1)Motherboard: Matsonic 7101C,Celeron 366,128 M RAM, sound on board, modem on board, VGA S3 Trio 2X. 2)HDA: Seagate 6 G partition: hda1 - 6 G (Windows) 3)HDB: Quantum Fireball 10 G partition: hdb1 - 10M, ext2,( /boot) hdb5 - 3000 M, ext2,( / ) hdb6 - 90 M, swap . rest of disk - free.
Instalation is running O.K., LILO in MBR hda1 istalled. After installation : -->restart-->LILO(in grafic mode)-->linux starts-->blue welcome screen-->and stop.Nothing more. Selftest when EXPERT instalation begins: is running, but waits at rows: partition check hdb: chipset not support IRQ for DMA (only IRQ 14), disk not ready for command.
