Hi, LM8.2 comes with Grip. It's a GUI program designed for ripping audio CDs into .WAVs, then encoding these into MP3s or OGGs. However :-) it's not complete on its own. You'll also need a MP3 encoder. Lame works ok, I got my copy from the "Penguin Liberation Front" website http://plf.zarb.org/rpm2html/Sound.html. There are other encoders there too, try them out and decide which one you like the most. Grip will lookup track names for you, and has no limitation on encoding bitrates. On the downside, it doesn't seem to like reading from IDE CD-writers :-( although I got it to work in the end.
