my system locks when shutting down/rebooting with this error message "umount: /net: device is busy".
reinstalled to make sure i didn't have a bad install (it did happen, once). got the same error message. my system is a: amd athlon xp 1700 w/ 256 mb ram, msi motherboard, 40 gb hard drive, cd and dvd rom drives, dlink network card (and hub) any help will be greatly appreciated. -iggy ps, not afraid of RTFM, but have been unsuccessful in finding any references to my particular problem.
