Well KMail doesn't have any script execute capability, and windows 
viruses are absolutely incompatible with linux.  As long as you are a 
regular user, not running as root, you can open kmail attachments 
without fear.  If you see an attachment that is 250k or so, it might be 
a phot or it might be SirCam, but what of it?  It wasted your bandwidth 
to DL it but itt can't hurt you,
