Well it's taken a few attempts and many failures but think I now have them updated using urpmi. Software Media Manager kept returning error - well so did urpmi to begin with. One strange thing, or perhaps 12 strange things. I now have a list of update_source entries from 0 to 12. I don't remeber this in 10.1. Have I messed up somehow? *Again*!
Mine are not numbered per se, but I have 1 thru 6 cd's and 6 sources from easy urpmi. 12 is about right. Looks OK.
Things still not working right. haven't tried anything today, but attempt to urpmi nmap, and ehtereal last night returned 'no such package'. I have disabled the CD sources because I keep getting bad signatures and unable to install messages.
