I am curious as to others preferences for a window manager. Since I had Mandriva installed I was using KDE 3.3, but the more I use it, the more buggy it feels. For one thing I tend to have these KDE crashes when opening certain videos. This is often because of KDE trying to load the video in a Konqueror window. I think this is because of the Kaffiene Preview. It is fine when I load in Kaffiene itself, but clicking often selects preview automatically.
I have started using Knome more, and becoming more comfortable with it. The main advantage of KDE was to have slide show for background image which Knome doesn't do. Thanks, Nate
