I just cannot seem to get BitTorrent to work on my 10.1OE Install. I have tried numerous versions, via URPMI and from the BT website.

I'm just about ready to give up, and try something else.......

Are there any alternatives for Linux? I know there are quite a few for Windows! Whatever, it must have a GUI!

Try Azureus.

Make sure you have Java installed via Urpmi, then get Azureus here - http://azureus.sourceforge.net/

You might be able to find an rpm, but there really isn't anything to install. You really don't need one.

Just unpack the file from the Azureus site and run it.

Make sure you have the proper ports forwarded if you are running a firewall or router, and you're set to go.

I have used Azureus on 10.0, 10.2, and 2005LE with good success.
