I have to say this this is one of only a handful I've ever been on that isn't totally polluted with OT arguments, personal vendettas, etc. And it's unusually tolerant of the OTs that do come in from time to time. Think about it: this is a Mandriva list, and we're discussing Linspire! Try that on another distro's list, and you're likely in for some serious flaming (Debian comes to mind, though only by reputation, not personal experience). And if you're using kmail, there's a really easy solution to the occasional offensive thread like this: (1) Message -> Ignore Thread; and (2) Message -> Mark Thread -> Mark Thread as Read. Then go on about your business. And don't think that Joe is representative of Canucks. We're generally peacable and fun-loving people.
