Er...if the printer is a USB printer, why would you enter an IP address for it? Meanwhile, just remove the printer from your system completely - and unplug it. Reboot without the printer connected and then power down again. Plug in the printer. Power on the system again. This SHOULD find the printer properly and allow for you to configure it again.
