Thanks for the advice. Yes I have 256M system memory. Unfortunately
"linux mem=248M" didn't work. Also, for what it's worth, I noticed
when I do "text mem=248M" It shows me
"Uncompressing Linux...OK, Booting the kernel."
a split second before it reboots.
Anything else?
Something you may want to try is booting off the second cd. This seems
to work in many cases where the first cd fails. I have not tried this
with 2006, but it has worked for me with previous versions. If it boots
successfully, you will be prompted for the first cd later.
