Hi Jon, Have opened Ksysguard, and everything appears to be within the realms of normality.... One of the big resource eaters was ClamAV, but I learned my lesson with that on initial install! I'm only running a Celeron 600MHz, with 256MB RAM, but all other previous versions of MDK/MDV have run fine.... I have noticed with previous releases, that a change of kernel can speed things up a bit. I'm going to have a look and see whats on offer for 2006! Thanks, James
