Konqueror can use the Netscape flash player, the same as firefox. You just
have to make sure in the Plugins section of the configuration that it's
checking the directories where the firefox plugins are. I think I had to
tweak this a little to get it working.

I remembering spending a few minutes getting it working for some particular
site I wanted to see that used flash extensively. It was a mixed blessing,
though, as it suddenly enabled all manner of intrusive flash ads. In fact, I
found once that if I left a firefox running with a half dozen tabs open, and
flash ads on all of them, just the animation was chewing 20% of my cpu
(actually it was my son that kept doing this).

One annoying thing about many of these plugins such as flash is that they
refuse to install if netscape or firefox are not installed. They ask for an
install directory, then complain that it's not a valid plugin directory. So
you have to have firefox installed to be able to use flash in konqueror!
