I've added an additional 160G drive to my existing 40G drive (using MDV 2005). The "new" drive was a Windows drive at some point in the past. My aim is to put all my audio and video on the 160G drive. I used to fdisk to repartition hdb, then mounted /home/cam/av on /dev/hdb1, but still get all kinds of Windows crap showing up....so I know I'm missing at least one step, most likely many steps. It's been quite a while since I've done this, so I'm lookin' for a little help.

My questions are these:
-What's the best way of wiping this drive of all Windows traces?
-In what order do I create mount points, move directories, edit /etc/fstab. Or does the order matter?

I feel a little "weak" asking for what seems like such simple help. I think I've got it written somewhere, but my desk was declared a federal disaster area recently (and I'm still waiting for the funds to arrive).

TIA
Cameron
