It's not strictly necessary that this winbox connects to
anything but the printer. It's on my desk and all I use
it for is quickbooks and a pc board prog that only comes
in winflavor. Backups are on the 2006 box and so far,
that's working fine win->2006.
I just hate not knowing, and I'm getting ready to tie in
5 more 2006 boxes.

NP Lee. Check the hardware on the Winbox though. That may be your problem.
