you _could just keep a file named /etc/hosts on the main server and
consider it a list for each computer you put online keeping the IP and
host name in the same format as the;
" 127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost"
entry that is already there. as you add a box add the info, this will be
an even quicker 'lookup' than dns
