I would like to ask please if there is any way to get mcc to display maximum info about packages like in 2006? Mandriva uses synthesis.cz files when one uses MandrivaUpdate to add sources (except for "main" and "updates" it seems), and I have tried to add sources manually with Easy Urpmi, and to my frustration I ended up with the synthesis.cz also. :-( I then tried to edit the sources in mcc to use the hdlist.cz instead, and ended up having mcc crap out and wipe out all my sources.
I really find mcc in 2007 to be a confusing implementation of rpmdrake. It was the reason I went back to 2006 after my first try of 2007. I thought I would give it another try. Is there a way to use the 2006 rpmdrake in 2007? Any feedback would be very much appreciated.
