I have installed kde and when the system starts up X  all I get is a cross hatch background and an X cursor. I do not get the kde boot up screen or the kde welcome message. I have started X from another workstation to see the boot screen while the gui is loading... and it gives no errors... does anyone have any idea?         Thanks           matt
